About

Our Beliefs

  • We believe in one God who exists eternally as three: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19)

  • We believe that the Bible is God’s complete message to humanity and is the only authority for the faith and practical life of Christians. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

  • We believe that Jesus Christ is God’s Son, the only Savior of the world.  He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross to atone for our sins, raised bodily from the dead, now lives exalted at the right hand of the Father, and will return someday to earth. (Acts 4:12; 1 Corinthians 15:3-8, 25-29, 51-57; Hebrews 4:15)

  • We believe that God loves every individual with a limitless love, but that everyone has sinned and become alienated from God. (John 3:16; Romans 5:12)

  • We believe that people cannot earn their way back to God, but can only receive life with Him (eternal life) as a free gift. People accept the gift of eternal life by putting their trust(faith) in Christ, which includes believing in Him, repenting of sin and being baptized (immersion of believers). (Romans 3:19-28; Ephesians 2:1-10; Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38)

  • We believe that the Holy Spirit dwells in every Christian.  He demonstrates His presence by transforming the Christian into the moral and spiritual likeness of Jesus. (Romans 8:9, 14; 2 Corinthians 3:18)

  • We believe that the church is to be a community of people united by their connection to Christ.  The Holy Spirit is building His church into a community fit for Heaven. (Ephesians 2:19-22).

He served the High Banks Church of Christ in Holcombe Wisconsin as their pastor from 1997 to 2000, and served the Horicon Church of Christ in Fairmont Minnesota as their pastor from 2000 to 2001. Craig and his wife Lynnette first met as campers at Christian Harbor Youth Camp when they were in high school, became each other’s best friend while students at Minnesota Bible College. They were married in May of 2000 and have been on an amazing adventure of raising their three daughters, serving God together, and enjoying life.

a note from the pastor …

“I have had the blessing and the privilege of serving Community Christian Church as their Lead Pastor since July of 2015. I love this church! Seeing people grow in their faith, grow in their faith relationship to God, and in their love and service to the church family is a true blessing. I thank God continually for the honor and blessing of being able to be a part of this church family!”
